Christmas is coming [=

I LOVE Christmas time! The music the cider, the telling of the Savior's birth. It is just such a magical lovely holiday! This year I am even more excited, because I am GETTING MARRIED. It is interesting how things work out, and I am very grateful for a loving family and Heavenly Father who have been with me through it all.

Wedding plans have been stressful. Even when I thought everything was done there always seem to be little details that I have to make decisions on or get done. PLANNING A WEDDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEMESTER IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. And I am 100% positive it wouldn't have happened without my wonderful mother who has graciously devoted extensive amounts of her own time and money into the planning process.

It is going to be a wonderful day and I am so excited to get married and to spend a great day celebrating it with family and friends. It is going to be quite the party!

As for right now I am extremely ready for Thanksgiving Break, my real break begins after Wednesday morning and I am SO READY for it! Thankfully I finished up the tests and assignments that I needed to last Thursday/Friday, so I don't have anything but work.

Today I go with my mom and Bethany to go visit Melissa Blackburn and make final decisions and touches on my wedding dress! Having my dress made has been such a fun enjoyable process! It is a very special thing and I am so excited about it!

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving week and that you are all reflecting on your blessings.

Love,

Rosalia

Summer 2011

Hey everyone, I realize it has been a while since my last post...sorry! This picture above is of me and my friend Tiara at a wedding reception. I have been to a lot of wedding receptions this summer (8 so far...). This one I actually went to with my boyfriend Nelson's family. It was the wedding of one of his old friend's. He actually had to work so he couldn't make it himself. I rode up with his family to Holladay Utah and when we walked up the driveway I commented on how it looked a lot like my friend Tiara's house, but I wasen't sure since I hadn't been there since the summer of my freshman year (2008). Sure enough it was! Turns out the bride is her husband's younger sister! It was really fun to get to see Tiara and to hang out with Nelson's parents (Amy and Lance) and his two younger siblings (Lorenzo 15, and Eliza 13).

This summer I have just been working a lot, I am still at the BYU OIT Service Desk and the job is treating me pretty well. It is fun that Nelson works in the same building that I do so we can sometimes take our lunches and breaks together [=

My birthday is coming up on the 27th! I am going to be the big 21 and I am pretty excited [= then two days later school starts up again! My friend and future roommate Alexis King is also moving into my apartment on the 25th of this month which is sure to be fun!

Anyways, just thought I would post a short update! I will hopefully blog again soon!

My Daddy

Look at this handsome guy! I love my daddy so much. I really don't know how I got so lucky to have been blessed to have such a wonderful father. He is loving, supportive, and a steady rock that I know that I can rely on. I love you Dad, and my heart is overflowing with how grateful I am for you in my life. I hope you know just how special you are to me.

Mom comes for a visit!

Mom came in town to help out Rebecca with little Gwenivere. As yall know Gwenivere came a little early (1st instead of 21st) so Mom missed the very beginning but I am sure that she was a great help to Rebecca and Taber anyways! I really enjoyed having Mom here, she is such a fun person to be around! We didn't do too much outside of the Provo/Orem area, but I think that the trip was a success. I was also very impressed with Mom's cooking! She was using Tracy's recipes and it was all very yummy [=

I love you Mom and am very happy to have such a wonderful mother! You are amazing! Come back anytime! ;)
